We are kicking off this new activity which we'll do once a month and in line with the covid situation, we'll do it virtually this month.
It will be highlighting residents' travels - near and far. If you'd like to participate as a presenter, let me know (private message here or email: betsy.barbour@gmail.com) and we'll set you up for the month of your choice.
For our first Travels together, we'll take off next Saturday evening the 29th at 7.00 and we'll go together to Africa - where I have worked since 1980 and lived for over 3 decades. I'll share some stories and pictures from my early years as a field linguist and young mother - including living off grid in a rural village for 10 years!
Bring your questions - maybe someone has always wanted to 'take a safari'?!
