We are going to start a series in this section of introductions to our resident, renters, and home owners not on site - anyone who would like to participate. These will be brief bios about the person and the home - following an interview format. We'd also like to include a picture or two...we'll see how it rolls out! If you'd like to help with this series - feeling your internal journalist coming out?! - let me know... One definition of a "silhouette" is "the lines that give form to something". That's what these brief bios will do...and then you can fill in the details as you get to know fellow community members! I'll start with my own bio to kick this new section off! And then next week, you'll meet Ty and Bonnie, who will be hosting the event next Friday the 15th (Tiny Paintings with a BIG impact"). My name is Betsy and I live in the Tiny Nest Retreat. I like being all on one level in my house, I have a cool custom built murphy bed/hidden desk which includes some repurposed wood from a hutch that has been in my family for 60 years. And I love my screen door with the heron on it. I am originally from northern New Jersey and my tiny house is from Florida, where I bought & lived in it for about 18 months. I then moved with my house up here to Tiny Estates - and moved in exactly a year ago yesterday! I have my own business called Global SKILLs and I do international consulting, helping people learn to live cross-culturally. I also work part time as a caregiver for my grandson who is almost 2 and lives in Lancaster. And I work part time here at Tiny Estates helping with community events and activities. A favorite thing about tiny living for me is the adaptability - I can move my house where I want to live and I can work at home. Can't get much better than that!

When TE was a resort there was a blog like this. Abby might have access to it. The stories would need tweaking!
