This week's Silhouette introduces Bonnie and Ty, who live in the Journey tiny house. They have been in the community for almost a year now, and are enjoying tiny living! Their favorite things about their home are the color ("lime green") and the fact that they have more storage space in this house than they had in their high-rise apartment in Washington, DC!
Bonnie grew up locally, and Ty hails from just north of here. They have spent their careers traveling and working around the world. Bonnie was an OR nurse and Ty worked with an international engineering and construction company. They retired and along with living here at Tiny Estates (which is walking distance from family), they enjoy spending half the year on the island of St Thomas.
Perks of tiny living which they both appreciate are the community we have here, and the fact that living expenses and footprint have been significantly minimalized.
We will have the chance to get to know both Bonnie and Ty better this coming Friday when Ty shares about his painting hobby - so plan on joining us for "Tiny Paintings with a BIG impact" on Friday at 6pm at the community Center!
