Agenda Items/Notes
1. Alliance Profile:
reviewed & continued to discuss Alliance member roles
continued to discuss information flow (Tiny Estates decisions, township & county ordinances, codes, etc) for Alliance members to understand and be able to communicate to residents the factors which feed into decisions which are made.
Set January meeting date.
2. Alliance Process: continued to review and discuss dynamic
resident input - working on our process for responding to resident inquiries and suggestions
Alliance input to Abby - working on our process for giving Abby input & receiving her responses, and then relaying them back to residents
3. Committee Report - Community Rules & Regulations
the committee has done the community survey and inventory. They are compiling the results and will then make recommendations for reviewing and revising the Community Rules & Regulations
timeline: by March, we will have their input, and then we will move forward with recommendations
4. Committee report - Contingency and Emergencies
the committee is gathering information on local emergency providers
(fire, police, shelter in case of emergency weather event, etc)
discussed how providers find the house which has called - they use the house names as listed on a map they have, and as posted on some houses
discussed winter weather events’ and snow removal plans,
placement of posts on exit road to guide traffic safely,
availability of someone to hire for shoveling of individual sites and parking spaces
in the event of resident concerns, they should call Abby
Projects:
Electric car plug-ins
a project to install an EV plug-in station at a resident’s site was submitted in October
input was sought from several experts and an information packet was reviewed by the Alliance
recommendations are being discussed and will be shared once finalized
Landscape Master Plan:
a. a group of residents has come together to research, design and help implement an integrated Master Plan for the Tiny Estates property
b. it will include considerations & strategies for Property design and maintenance
c. it is taking into consideration both current concerns & the property history for
(1) natural spaces (our remaining forest stands & trees, wetlands and ponds, etc)
(2) public spaces and home sites
d. timetable: the draft Plan will be submitted in March of 2022 with recommendations on how to move forward
Additional Items:
1. all alcohol has been removed from the Community Center and from now on, no alcohol will be stored in or served at the Center or at Community activities and events
2. new Forum platform - this is being worked on; stay tuned for updates!
The Alliance is always open to resident questions, suggestions, ideas or any other input.
