The Tiny Estates Library is now officially OPEN for service! Our Librarian is Bev (living in Horsefeathers). Thanks Bev for stepping up! The LIbrary is located in our Community Center, on the bookshelf by the couch. For now, as we collect books, we'd like to try a 'take a book, give a book' system. But if you don't have a book to give, no worries... We want to keep this as simple as possible (so, no formal system of checking out). But we also want to keep a nice stock & good variety of books on hand, so if you do 'borrow' one, please return it in a reasonable amount of time. SO, if you'd like to drop books by (a few at a time) either to Bev's place or to the Community Center, that'd be great. Please do not leave books outside - please put them inside (the lock box/key is now on the porch side door). We are very open to what kinds of books people might like to see - so other residents can keep an eye out for ones to share! We especially would appreciate it if you drop of a few books at a time - no large boxes, please!! That way, it'll be easier to will keep our books shelved and neat.
Speaking of books, there has been interest expressed in having a book club...if you are interested in helping coordinate some kind of book sharing/club, reading circle whatever, or participating, let us know here in this thread and we'll see where that can go.
