1. Alliance Mandate: which so far includes:
~ help build and sustain resident sense of “ownership” & well being = ‘our’ community
~ convey resident input to Alliance & Admin
(ideas, suggestions, activities, community friendly behaviors)
~ work with Admin to set & enforce Community Rules & Regulations
~ work with Admin & residents on projects initiated by either or both
2. Alliance Profile: members - introduce new members: AbbyD & Megan...we have a full house!
3. Alliance Profile: member roles
to be a sounding board: residents & owners can contact Alliance members with input, questions, etc to bring to the Alliance and when needed, to Admin
to consider and vote on recommendations to give to Abby for:
community projects
individual resident owner projects
setting & enforcing standard specifications for sites & public spaces
to be informed on basics of what is & what is not ‘allowed’ (by Admin and/or township), and to share this info with residents:
to be informed on current property related activities/issues update on permitting status & upcoming property activities.

timing: monthly; transparency = meeting minutes are posted;

5. Process: Resident Input to Alliance Members - discussed
receiving direct input, or suggestion box, or input given to Abby
reviewed “Resident Input/Project Request” Forms
forms will be available for residents to submit their ideas
(printed out in Community Center, posted on the Forum, Member will have copies)
gives initial feedback
brings it up for next Alliance meeting agenda
keep resident informed of progress/ decisions

Alliance will submit items to Betsy for her bi-weekly meetings w/ Abby
Betsy will keep Alliance informed of progress/decisions
7. Process: Standardizing Community ‘rules’ & ‘guidelines’ - discussed
Abby is giving Alliance orientation to: what she has approved & why, what is a no-go
Alliance is forming a subcommittee: begin to collect things to be considered
8. Process: Contingency and Emergency Protocols
subcommittee is being formed
include considerations like:
(1) list of residents’ emergency contacts
(2) list of local emergency services & nearest facilities;
(3) residents with medical background willing to help out

Electric car plug-ins: resident proposal has been submitted
Winterizing the community: poles for when it snows; plowing design
